Calissia Media is an emergent Social Media startup founded and led by a team of young Christians who have experienced the redemptive power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. In the spirit of the Vatican II decree Inter Mirifica and at the call of our Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI on the event of the 43rd World Communication Day, Calissia Media is introducing world class professional Christian Social Media products and services to the global community.
What We Do
Calissia Media’s products enable social media savvy users to experience the Gospel message through a new social medium – the smartphone. New mobile platforms, such as the iPhone, BlackBerry and Android, offer a new world of opportunities for delivering the Christian message of hope and redemption. At Calissia Media, we have extensive experience in creating original premium content for the leading mobile platforms on the market today, including iPhone, BlackBerry and Android. When coupled with leading social networking platforms such as Facebook, our products become an exceptionally powerful means for evangelization and for renewing one’s faith.
How We Operate
Calissia Media is a company like no other. We are a privately owned startup based on core Christian values and principles. Our investors and executive management team are committed Christians who have decided to operate Calissia Media as a venture where the Kingdom of Christ comes first, even before profitability. Although we are seeking material profitability, our top priority is the spiritual renewal of our users. Our financial aspirations are humble but not our spiritual ones. Our goal is that every one of our users will be touched by the transforming power of Christ and that the quality of their lives will improve and blossom into true and authentic happiness and joy.
